By booking with Studio Faux Floristry (“we”, “our”, “the Vendor”) and purchasing through our website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure clarity and protection for both the Client (“you”) and Studio Faux Floristry in the delivery of our services and products.
1. Overview
Studio Faux Floristry is a premium faux floral rental business servicing South East Queensland, based on the Gold Coast. Our arrangements are crafted using real-touch artificial (faux) florals, designed to resemble fresh blooms in texture and appearance.
2. Booking and Payment
- Either; A 30% deposit or full payment is required at time of booking to secure your date and product selection
- Final payment (when opting for deposit structure) is due 30 days prior to the event.
- A $500 credit card hold will be placed 24 hours prior to delivery as a security
bond for potential damages. This hold is released within 24–48 hours after collection, provided all items are returned in original condition as recorded at time of delivery and set up. - Failure to provide delivery, set up and pack down instructions upon booking or up to 30 day prior to event may result in drop off and pick up only. Please ensure you provide as much detail as possible as we are otherwise unable to allocate correct time to create your vision.
3. Delivery & Collection
- Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your chosen event location.
- You will select your preferred delivery and collection window at booking. This is a guideline only. While we aim to meet your chosen time, we are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic, accidents, or road closures.
- Deliveries will be completed no later than two hours before your event start time, unless otherwise arranged.
4. Use of Arrangements
- Floral arrangements must not be used outdoors during adverse weather conditions. If no indoor wet weather plan is in place and the weather is deemed unsafe (e.g., rain, strong winds), Studio Faux Floristry reserves the right to refuse setup, and retain either the full deposit or 30% of the booking total (when not originally paid using deposit)
- Clients are responsible for safely moving floral arrangements and other items out of weather which may cause damage. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of security deposit and if irrepairable, further replacement costs.
5. Damage, Loss & Image Documentation
- Images and videos of all arrangements will be taken prior to delivery and during setup to document their original condition.
- You are responsible for the items from the time of delivery until collection.
- Any damage, loss, unauthorised movement, or tampering will incur minimum of loss of security deposit.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations within 90 days of the event are non-refundable, and your deposit/30% of the total booking will be retained.
- Cancellations or postponements due to events outside your control (e.g., severe weather, fire, flooding, acts of God) will qualify for a rescheduled date, subject to availability.
- If no suitable date is available, a credit note for the retained portion of the booking will be issued for future use. An amicable solution will be met with all parties involved
7. Minimum Orders & Product-Specific Terms
- Some products carry minimum order quantities (e.g., Bud Vases require a minimum of 30 vases).
8. Intellectual Property & Media Use
- We reserve the right to photograph and video our floral installations and venue set up for marketing purposes.
- By booking with us, you agree to allow Studio Faux Floristry to use any images or videos for promotion across digital, print, and social platforms.
9. Rental Integrity & Substitutions
- While we strive to ensure all arrangements match imagery provided, minor variations may occur due to flower availability or wear over time.
- If a component becomes unavailable or damaged prior to your event, it will be replaced with a floral or component of equal value and aesthetic, preserving the overall look. E.g. a white orchid would not be replaced with a red rose. All aesthetics will be maintained to highest standard.
10. Venue Conditions & Setup Requirements
- The Client is responsible for ensuring adequate access and space for installation.
- If venue limitations or site conditions prevent safe installation, Studio Faux Floristry reserves the right to alter or decline the setup.
- Additional fees may apply for setups involving stairs, elevators, or restricted access not communicated in advance.
- Studio Faux Floristry reserves the right to assess the safety of all delivery routes and venue access points prior to or upon arrival. If, at our sole discretion, the road conditions, terrain, or access to the venue are deemed unsafe or pose a risk to our staff or property (e.g., unsealed or steep roads, flooding, limited vehicle access), we reserve the right to:
- Decline delivery and installation at that location,
- Request alternative arrangements (such as nearby handover or indoor drop-off), or;
- Apply additional delivery fees to cover the need for specialised transport, labor, or extended time on site.
- In circumstances where delivery cannot be completed safely, the booking will be considered a partial cancellation and 30% of the total booking item value + delivery cost will be retained. We will work with you to find a reasonable alternative where possible, but client-provided access must meet basic safety requirements.
11. Legal & Liability
- Studio Faux Floristry is not responsible for any injuries, venue damage, or third-party losses resulting from the use or placement of our items.
- All items remain the property of Studio Faux Floristry and must be returned in full.
12. Agreement
- By booking and purchasing through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions. This forms a binding agreement between the Client and Studio Faux Floristry.
